Kaminsky

1st-team all-conference at this point?

  1. With his spectacular play in the last 4 games he has certainly got himself in the conversation, but don't forget, just 5 games ago vs. IL he was 0-1 for 2 points with 4 fouls, and 1 turnover in just 20 minutes. It is a full season award.
I still think Payne gets 1st team despite all the missed games, but if Frank stays aggressive he could get 2nd team. There's a possibility both make 1st team, but seems pretty unlikely with all the quality guards. Vonleh has had a very good year on a team that is not only pretty bad, but disappointing, so I don't think he gets higher than 3rd team. Kaminsky is competing with a large group of quality forwards too, and who shakes out on which teams is tough to figure.

  2. I agree Payne is the favorite. But with two straight dominating performances on CBS, I think Frank raised his profile quite a bit. I'd be surprised if he doesn't show up on the second team at this point. But he'll have to continue scoring 15ppg or so, probably.
